The revolutionary survey equipment that X-Y-EAZY Ltd has developed for its new survey service took a giant leap to being approved by Network Rail's product approval process this week. All electronic equipment is required to be tested for its electromagnetic compatibility before being passed for safe use on the network. X-Y-EAZY Ltd used the services of the York EMC laboratories in Castleford to carry out this testing and received the final report this week. The equipment passed through the various tests with flying colours thanks to the detailed planning in the design and specification of the equipment by co-founder and Director, Stuart Robinson.
Stuart said, "The EMC testing was one part of the rigourous trials and tests we have applied to ensuring that our platform surveys will be reliable, accurate and consistent no matter what the environmental conditions."
It is expected that the equipment will complete the product approval process in the next two months and then the industry will be able to benefit from the survey services of X-Y-EAZY Ltd. |
