Crest Engineering have been selected to calibrate the jig for the X-Y-EAZY survey equipment. Crest are a well established calibration firm and are part of the Hyde Group, which provides calibration and tool design to many high technology industries, such as Aerospace.
Using a Leica LTD 500 Laser Tracker, a high accuracy 3D laser interferometer, Crest are able to set up the calibration jig to exacting standards. This ensures that the X-Y-EAZY equipment is set up correctly for measuring the platform gauge and that this information can be trusted to be accurate. This demonstrates the lengths X-Y-EAZY is going to in order to prove out the accuracy and reliability of the survey service it aims to offer.
