The latest incarnation of the equipment that X-Y-EAZY uses for the platform gauging surveys was unveiled today at a special presentation by the engineering firm that developed the technology. The presentation was attended by the Technical Director of X-Y-EAZY, Mr Stuart Robinson, and the team of engineers involved in the development of the equipment.
Mr Robinson said: "We are delighted to see the fantastic results of months of hard work and effort by all of the team here. The survey equipment has been designed and built using the latest technology and this means that the service we will be able to offer our customers will be second to none."
The equipment will be used by all of the surveyors throughout the UK and enables them to carry out the highly accurate gauging surveys in a fraction of the time it takes manually.
"This has been an exciting and challenging project," said the Chief Engineer, leading the project. "The project brief was to create a single man operated, accurate piece of equipment for use in any weather conditions. The timescales have been challenging, but the end result is a great success for my team. I wish X-Y-EAZY all the best for the future, and look forward to working with them on the next project."
