In order to deliver the highest standard of service to its clients, X-Y-EAZY has made a significant investment in the development of a bespoke piece of platform surveying equipment. The lengths that the company is prepared to go to in order to satisfy the demanding specification were demonstrated this week, when they received delivery of the IT Hardware from Mitsubishi.
The selected FX3U Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is the latest in a very popular and high specification range. In fact, it is so new that X-Y-EAZY is the first company in the UK to take delivery of one.
This PLC will be the power behind the equipment, being able to record a full platform survey for any platform in the UK at increments of just 200mm, as the equipment is pushed along the track at a walking pace.
Therefore, the service that this equipment can enable will offer all our clients' flexibility in planning surveys, speed of data collection and reliability at the accuracy that the designers need.
